Everyone’s favorite summer holiday is quickly approaching, and that calls for a signature drink to feature at your family’s Fourth of July celebration. In this post, we’ll explain how to make Firecracker Cold Brew, a fruity and refreshing drink sure to keep you going until the fireworks end. This caffeinated twist on the red white and blue popsicles we all know and love is sure to be a hit!
Why Cold Brew?
Cold brew is not only incredibly easy to make at home, but also smoother and less acidic than hot coffee. This makes it more ideal for those with a sensitive stomach who still want their caffeine fix. You’ll find from this recipe that the coffee flavor holds up well when combined with flavored syrups, too!
Unlike iced coffee, cold brew is made by steeping coarse grounds for 12-16 hours at room temperature.
The result of this brewing is cold brew concentrate, which you’ll mix with cold water or milk. This concentrate will last up to two weeks in the fridge, making it an easy beverage you can prepare in advance.

How to make Firecracker Coffee
Before starting, make sure to prepare your cold brew concentrate. This video will teach you the method we use to brew the perfect cup every time.
Ingredients
• 4 oz. City Girl Coffee Cold Press Concentrate
• 1/4 oz. Cherry Torani Syrup
• 1/4 oz. Blue Raspberry Torani Syrup
• 1/4 oz. Lemon Torani Syrup
• Water
• Ice
• Whipped Cream & Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
1. Fill a 16 oz. cup 1/2 way full with ice
2. Add flavored syrups and cold brew concentrate to cup. Stir to combine.
3. Fill remainder of the cup with cold water.
4. Top off with whipped cream and sprinkles.
*tip: for an extra festive look, use red white and blue sprinkles!
